32nd Annual Flywheel Festival Held in Houston
HOUSTON, Miss. (WCBI) – The 32nd Annual Flywheel Festival kicked off this weekend in Houston.
People from all across the country brought their antique tractors, old farm tools, and flywheel engines to North Mississippi.
The festival included a 5K run to raise money for breast cancer, a parade of tractors, vendors, and local entertainment.
There were also demonstrations of steam and diesel engines, hominy cooking and making lye soap.
The event was sponsored by the Chickasaw Development Foundation and hosted by the Mississippi Valley Flywheel Association.
