Oxford Police Investigate Robbery

OXFORD (WCBI) – Oxford Police are looking for the suspect in a Thursday morning strong armed robbery.

Police say an employee of a store in the Oxford Galleria I was going to open her store when she was jumped.  A tall slender black male wearing a dark t shirt and blue jeans grabbed her by the arm and took a bag from her.  The man then ran across the parking lot to the Home Depot where he  drove away in a white car down Jackson to Highway 278.  The woman was not injured but says she was able to scratch her attackers face.   Police are working to secure surveillance footage to distribute to the public.  If you have any information you can call Crimestoppers at 662 234 8477.
