UPDATE – Names Released In Fatal Oktibbeha Crash

OKTIBBEHA COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – Three people were killed in a Thursday night crash on Highway 12 in Oktibbeha County.

The Mississippi Highway Patrol says the one vehicle accident happened just east of Sturgis, about 8:40 PM.  Troopers say the three were driving in a Nissan Quest on Highway 12 near Crossgates Road.  The van swerved off the road, rolled and then crossed Crossgates Road where it became airborne and hit a tree.

Oktibbeha County Deputy Coroner Jimmy Miller says all 3 died at the scene of the crash. They have been identified as  47 year old Carolyn P. Fales of Weir  17 year old Tiffanie S. Fales of Weir  and 19 year old Lane E. Dunn of Sarepta, LA

This was an extremely tragic accident.

The crash remains under investigation by state troopers.
