2 women indicted for VFW armed robbery in Columbus

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – Two women have been indicted for a VFW armed robbery in Columbus.
The hold-up happened in January 2023.
Shanta Henley and Alexis Harris were both indicted on armed robbery and aggravated assault charges.
A third arrest was made at that time but no word if that person was indicted.
Investigators said the suspects barged into the VFW demanding money and hitting a worker.
The women were arrested a few days later.
No trial date has been set.
