2 month long investigation nets embezzlement arrest
COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – A Columbus woman is accused of cheating her employer out of over $1,500.
Shemeko Latrice Hayden is charged with Felony Embezzlement.
Hayden is accused of under charging customers, and in some cases allowing customers to leave without paying for merchandise from the grocery store where she was employed.
The investigation spanned a 2 month period earlier this year.
Hayden’s bond was set at $5,000.
