18-Wheeler Wreck in Calhoun City

CALHOUN CITY, Miss. (WCBI) – An 18-wheeler carrying a load of lumber over-turned on Hwy. 9 yesterday just south of the intersection of highways eight and nine.

The rig was turning onto the highway, but cut the corner too tight causing the trailer to skid into the ditch.

The driver of the 18-wheeler was not injured. The Calhoun City and Derma fire departments responded to the accident.
