Boys and Girls Recycling Initiative
STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) – The Boys and Girls Club of Starkville steps up a recycling initiative.
With the help of Mississippi State students, the group presented “Mr. Green” to remind people of the importance of recycling.
More than 120 children participate in the Boys and Girls Club.
The short skit kicked-off the clubs initiative to recycle all paper, plastic, and cardboard generated at the club.
“When it comes to the environment and trash we want them to just take the extra time to divide their stuff and basically be responsible with it,” said Director Lucas Davenport.
The Day One Leadership group of MSU Freshman worked with the club as their service project.
