Total Lunar Eclipse Sunday Evening

We will be in prime position here in north MS and west AL to see a total lunar eclipse Sunday evening if clouds remain sparse.  Not only will this be a total eclipse of the moon, but it will be a total eclipse of the Harvest Moon, the full moon closet to the fall equinox which is of course Wednesday, September 23rd.  In addition, the full Harvest Moon will be a supermoon.  What is a supermoon you ask?  It’s when the moon is closest to Earth in its orbit.  This celestial event will be a sight to behold!
