State's Harris Wins SEC Heptathlon
 AUBURN, Ala. – Mississippi State junior Marrissa Harris scored an automatic national qualifying and school-record 5,600 points to win the heptathlon at the 2008 Southeastern Conference Track and Field Championships on Friday afternoon. Harris becomes the fourth Lady Bulldog to win an outdoor title and the first in the combined events.

State Fifth After Two Rounds At NCAA East Regional
 CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. - The Mississippi State men's golf team remained among the NCAA East Regional's top five teams Friday, as they fired a 282 in the second round at the Council Fire Golf Club in Chattanooga, Tenn. The Bulldogs are in fifth place with a 32-hole score of 560 and stand just two shots back of third. The 560 is State's best 36-hole team score this season.

Bulldog Golfers Tied For Fourth After First Round Of NCAA East Regional
 CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. - Seeking the program's third NCAA Championship appearance, the Mississippi State men's golf squad shot a 278 in the first round of the NCAA East Regional Thursday at the Council Fire Golf Club in Chattanooga, Tenn., and stand in a tie for fourth in the 27 team field. The 278 team score was the best round by a Bulldog team in NCAA Regional play.

Harris Leads Heptathlon After Day One At SEC Championships
 AUBURN, Ala. – For the third time this season, Mississippi State junior Marrissa Harris broke her own school record in the 100-meter hurdles, running a regional-qualifying 13.20 seconds during the heptathlon on the first day of competition at the 2008 Southeastern Conference Track & Field Championships. Harris finished the opening day atop the leaderboard with 3,502 points.
