Former University of South Carolina standout Mike Boynton, Jr. will join Darrin Horn's first staff in Columbia as an assistant men's basketball coach, it was announced today. Boynton joins Scott Cherry and Cypheus Bunton as the full-time assistant coaches on the Gamecock staff.

News: Taylor inks National LOI with MBB
NASHVILLE - Head coach Kevin Stallings announced Wednesday that forward Jeffery Taylor has signed a National Letter of Intent to attend Vanderbilt and play basketball for the Commodores beginning in the fall of 2008. Taylor, a 6'7 forward from Norrkoping, Sweden, averaged 30 points per game while leading his Hobbs (N.M.) High School team to the 5A state championship as a senior.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Vanderbilt senior Alex Gordon will compete in the First Annual Music City All-Star Classic at Tennessee State University this Saturday.
