Person safely escapes car fire

LOWNDES COUNTY,Miss. (WCBI) – A late night car fire caused traffic on Highway 82 in Lowndes County.

The driver was heading Eastbound when the vehicle started making weird noises and his car became fully engulfed in flames.

Lowndes County District 4 and 5 Fire Departments responded to the scene.

There are no reports of injuries or of what caused the fire.
