UPDATE: Video: One Killed and 4 Injured in Highway 82 Wreck

OKTIBBEHA COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) — One person is dead after a three-car crash on Highway 82 in Oktibbeha County.
Mississippi Highway Patrol officials tell WCBI it happened between the Hickory Grove Road and Clayton Village exits around 6:30 p.m., Friday.
A westbound 2007 GMC Yukon rear-ended a log truck. The Yukon ran off the road into the median, striking the cable barrier. The log truck rolled over, and a 2002 Ford Mustang hit the truck.
Emergency crews had to use the jaws of life to remove the victims from the Yukon. The driver, 46 year old John D. Gentry, was pronounced dead at the scene. Three children in the Yukon, ages 6, 9, and 11 were taken to OCH Regional Medical Center with serious injuries. The 6 and 11 year olds were taken to University Medical Center in Jackson, and are listed in critical condition. The 9 year old has serious injuries, and at last report was still at OCH.
The driver of the log truck, 59 year old Eddie Wooten of Starkville, was taken to OCH with minor injuries. His passenger and the driver of the Mustang were uninjured.
The wreck had westbound traffic backed up for around two-and-a-half hours.
MHP is investigating the crash.
