LOWNDES COUNTY, Miss. - Before you can begin building your dream house or business on an empty lot, you must clear the land.

Dustin Waldrop is in the business of tearing "stuff up". Four years ago, he started his Lowndes County business, Doziers and Demolition. Dustin and his crew uses bulldoziers, tractors and escavators to clear land, dig lakes, even move trees. I joined Dustin out at Elm Lake in Lowndes Coiunty to learn more about the demo business.

Before the filler dirt can be packed down, old trees had to be moved. That's when we turned to the escavator. Dustin turned the keys over to me, and taught me how to work the machinery.

For Dustin Waldrop, using doziers to clear land and prepare for construction is just one more day in the life.
