Five of the seven students taken away by ambulance from Caledonia High School, after having a reaction from the H1N1 vaccination, did not return to school Wednesday.
Lowndes County Schools Superintendent Mike Halford says 16 students did have some type of health complaint after taking the shot.
A female student who went to the hospital Wednesday, went back later that night with seizures. It's unclear if the vaccination is related to the seizure.
No health issues were reported at New Hope or at any Columbus School, where students were also given the shot.
Caledonia Middle and Elementary schools parents will have another opportunity to sign a permission slip before the shots are given on the Lowndes County campus at a later date.
