We have enjoyed a breeze out of the north the past few days. That has allowed drier air filter into our area and given us a taste of fall.
However, as winds gain more of an easterly then southerly component over the next few days, more moisture will be transported into the WCBI viewing area. Despite that, rain chances are slim--but not zero--this weekend.
We can also say good-bye to the below average temperatures. Thursday and Friday will feature mostly sunny skies with highs in the low 90s. Clouds will increase after that, but highs will still top out about average for this time of the year.

The blog post from last night is still on track. Mostly sunny skies will prevail the next few days with more cloud cover and a few showers possible this weekend and early next week.
Tropical Storm Isaac has formed in the Atlantic. Though computer forecast models disagree with the exact track, Isaac should stay to our east. Southern Florida may be dealing with a hurricane making landfall on Monday. It's something we'll keep our eyes on, of course.
